When I heard about University of Pennsylvania bringing “Technology-Based Learning to Nicaraguan Community School for Children of Coffee-Farm Workers”, I couldn’t help but cringe and feel sympathy for the small community that is about to be a subject in a research project.
There is a misguided, well-intentioned belief in the Western world that whatever is good [...]
After an appointment in the morning, Pastor Ed, Ligia, Simone, and I headed to Lake Wilcox in Richmond Hill to take in some nature. With a few busy nights this week, I’m sure they appreciate the downtime to relax and be in the wilderness (well, not that while actually).
Ed communed with the Canadian geese and [...]
On October 13th and 15th, members from Cornerstone Church have had opportunities to meet and greet Pastor Ed and Ligia. During both nights, a good group showed up to listen to them share about their experiences in Nicaragua and their ministry there.

This Thanksgiving (in Canada anyway) is a special one for many of us at Cornerstone because it is the first time Pastor Ed Jaentschke has delivered a Sunday message to the congregation.
