Ed discovers Connor’s ticklish spot.

Tonight Pastor Ed and Ligia came over to my home and finally met my wife and son. This was a meeting I’ve been praying for for a long time and it has finally happened. Since my wife has never been to Bluefields, and not likely to any time soon, [...]

After receiving morning hugs from little MacKenna, I introduced them to Tim Hortons (a well respected Canadian hockey and coffee icon). They loved the coffee….Ligia came from a family owned coffee plantation, thus it was good to see them happy.

Another day and more media coverage on the deepening world food crisis. Today, it’s the continuation of the UN’s plea for support of the World Food Programme and urging world governments to help with the shortfall in money the WFP is suddenly facing due to the surge in commodity prices.
Also announced today is the formation [...]

There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as the 2008 Nicaragua team delivered their report to the Cornerstone congregation this past Sunday. Members wept openly as this year’s missionaries recounted their experiences of helping the families living in La Esperanza, or how 5 local girls sacrificed what they had to show how much they [...]
