Stories of heart-break and hope from Nicaragua

How to help / donate

We are non-profit, but need your help!

Nicaragua Hope is non-profit, but is not officially registered as such. It is a site administered by Jonathan Hung and money generated through this site will be properly disclosed and donated to various aid projects in Nicaragua.

How can you help?

There are many different ways you can help Nicaragua:

  • Participate in a fund raiser
The money generated through a fund raiser is perhaps the best way to help out! Contact a local church about setting up your own event, or participate in one posted here on Nicaragua Hope. Every little bit goes a long way in helping! ($250 USD can send a child in Nicaragua to school).

  • Donate money directly

You can also donate directly to Nicaragua Hope or to any of the organizations working in the country.

To donate by cheque (preferred method), make a cheque out to Jonathan Hung and mail to:

    Jon,

I tried to donate by clicking on paypal but it seems to say that it could not decrypt the certificate id. Is there a problem?

If using a check, I am not sure what kind of check you can take as I am a US resident. So I thought that paypal would be easier.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Lauren Nguyen
