Ultimate Tournament is a Success!

The ultimate tournament this past Saturday was a huge success! Despite the heavy wind and the 5c temperatures, over 50 of you showed up to help fight poverty in Bluefields, Nicaragua. Enough money was raised to sponsor two children to go to school for a year, and feed their families for over 1 month!
In the end it was Wild Thing versus CY’s team in a competitive finale (Wild Thing took the title this year), whereas Vertigo and Bench Warmers played a spirited match with Vertigo beating the novices soundly. With most people keeping their limbs intact, I think you would agree that everything went rather smoothly.
There will be another tournament next year and it will be held in August… so leave those earmuffs at home!
A sincere thank you to everyone who came out to support this initiative, and gratitude goes to everyone who helped work behind the scenes preparing food, registering players, and forming teams.
